Nearly 800 shortlisted at Infopark job fair

TechnoparkToday.com(Dec, 2014): Nearly 800 applicants were shortlisted for placements in various companies at Infopark following the recently concluded job fair which attracted a large crowd of IT job aspirants.

Nearly 10,000 job seekers, including students and experienced professionals, registered at the fair which was hosted by Infopark on December 12 and 13. The fair was organized in association with Race Solutions on the occasion of Infopark’s tenth anniversary celebrations.

As many as 4,500 applicants attended the recruitment drive in which 13 companies took part. The shortlisted candidates will attend the final round of interviews with the recruiters and placements will be confirmed in the coming weeks.

“Kerala has an abundance of talent and this is reflected in these job fairs which are open to all qualified people,” Infopark Chief Executive Officer Hrishikesh Nair said. “The fair also offered an opportunity to IT professionals from Kerala who are currently working at different places in India, to return and settle down near their native places,” he added.

Recruitment was conducted for various posts including iOS/Andriod/PHP developers, technical lead/architects, software engineers, web developers, Java/Python/.Net developers, J2EE/ATG/Hybris/HTMLS specialists, business analysts, content writers, test engineers, customer support consultants, big data engineers and technical support consultants.

The majority of the fresh job seekers who attended the fair were M.Tech, B.Tech, MCA, BCA, MSc, BE and MBA graduates.
