UST Global and Tata Elxsi to clash in the finals of GOAL 2011

The finals of GOAL 2011 – Technopark’s premier football tournament will see the two top teams – UST Global Reds & Tata Elxsi clash for the coveted trophy.

The semifinals were held on 9th October 2011. In the first semis, Tata Elxsi defeated Allianz Cornhill 2-1 in a high octane match. Rahul & Emmy were the goal scorers for Tata Elxsi while Subin scored for Allianz. In the second semifinals, which proved to be an absolute thriller, UST Global Reds defeated Infosys A 1-0 to secure a spot in the finals. Jijo Unnikrishnan scored the crucial goal of the match.

The 3rd place decider and finals are scheduled to be held on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at LNCPE Ground, Kariavattom. The match schedule is given below :

3rd Place Decider, 3.00PM – 4.15PM : Infosys A vs Allianz Cornhill
Finals, 4.30PM – 5.45PM : UST Global Reds vs Tata Elxsi
