This is a news appeared in today’s Malayala Manorama Daily, technopark employees are attacked by local goons, when the techies questioned them about some illegal activities nearby techies residence. The news paper reported that, the goons were experimenting with some sort of bombs during the night, and techies  questioned them.
There were so many other incidents happened in the past against the technopark employees, but this time a severe one. Police registered a case against the goons, but who knows what will happen since nobody is there to take care and support  the techies if such an incident happened.
It is with utter shock and panic that TechnoparkToday reports this news to bring out the violence that is set against all those IT professionals. police should be more proactive in this subject. kazhakkootam is now a famous IT hub, attracting the attention from many national companies and other investors both in india and abroad. such incidents should not be repeated. the local goons can be effectively eliminated if our law and order system function well.
I think we should start a club for our own now, I read some where in a blog an idea of forming a IT Gonda group! I think its time for that!! Auto Drivers who ask for more money, Restaurants who provide low quality food, eve teasers, house brokers who try to fool techies, etc will come to an end!! TP IT Gonda Club!! How is it?
This was a serious offence. Most of the techies are not from Trivandrum but from other places in kerala and Outside kerala. Lots of techies are afraid to live in and around kazhakuttom coz they are afraid of Local goons.Local goons are the bloody idiots who are ruling kazhakuttom areas. Technopark authorities and Police should be more aware about techies security. Protect Us from Local goons or Open a Karate center at Technopark.
