Maratha Light Infantry Brass Band performed at Technopark

>>November 24, 2011:  Maratha Light Infantry Regimental  Centre(MLIRC) Brass Band,  one of the oldest amongst the Indian Army Bands performed today at Technopark for Technopark employees.

The performance was organized by NCC Directorate (Kerala & Lakshadweep) in association with UST Global in Bhavani atrium of Technopark between 4 and 6 pm. This rare and one of its kind opportunity to witness India’s number one Army Band performing, led by Band Master Nb Sub B Sannappa, was seized by a large number Technopark employees! People from Companies other than UST Global also attended the event and applauded for outstanding performance by the band. Brigadier C  Sandeepkumar , Deputy Director General NCC, (Kerala & Lakshadweep) introduced the Band to Technopark employees.

The performance also marked the beginning of three week long annual fest ‘Rangoli ‘11’ by UST Global which has been one of the most awaited activities by Technopark employees for years now. Like every year this year also UST Global is geared up to engage Technopark in some high impact, socially relevant and environment friendly activities like ‘Car health check-up’ for Technopark employees, initiated by UST’s ‘Color Quartz’, ‘Traffic Management Session’ and ‘Green Certification Drive’ by ‘Color Gold’ and ‘Color Green’ respectively.

Enchanted by the performance of MLI Brass Band, Alexander Varghese, Country Head, UST Global said, and “There could not have been a better way to kick start the most awaited celebrations of the season ‘Rangoli ‘11’ than this world class performance by the MLI Brass Band!
