TechVantage expands operations in Technopark

TechVantage specializes in providing IT solutions in niche areas like software development for the Smart Grid, building e-Commerce & social networking sites and creating software for Compliance Management across Industries. By using sophisticated software along with the Smart grid, Energy and Utility companies will be able to generate and distribute energy more efficiently in future. TechVantage also has services in cloud and mobile computing.

While TechVantage mostly works with US and European markets at present, there are plans to expand to other geographies and verticals in 2012. In a release, Ms. Jeeja Deviprasad, Managing Director, TechVantage said “We are presently a one-year old IT company with a 15 member strong team working from the Technopark Smart Business Centre. But with the growth in the number of projects, and increasing demand, it was imperative to expand our operations to a bigger space of our own. Now with our new office fully operational, we can grow faster and tap into the talent pool of Engineers in Kerala. The current plan is to expand to a size of 30 by the end of 2012 with increasing focus on building domain expertise, particularly on the Smart grid. Having worked with IT companies mostly outside Kerala, I was pleased with the tremendous support the state of Kerala and Technopark offers new entrepreneurs and the good ecosystem that exists within the park”
