Recession as an opportunity?

It is sure that prospects shrink. However, opening up of the geographical boundaries of the European markets has provided opportunities for many countries such as China and India to do business in proportions never heard before, He said.

The awards for best academic performance were presented by the Minister. Dr S. Ramadorai, chairman, Board of Governors – ASB and CEO and Managing Director, TCS, gave away diplomas to the third batch of outgoing PGPM students.

In his report, Prof K. Ramakrishnan, director, ASB, said: “At a time when placements and new job opportunities are becoming difficult, nearly 50 percent of the outgoing PGPM graduates have already received campus placements in prestigious companies across the country. Efforts are on to find appropriate placements for the remaining students. It is expected that most students will get placements by the end of May or early June.’’
