Indian developers can sell apps on Android Market

Google allows Indian developers to sell apps on Google Play – the android online store.Till now, developers from India could
only offer their apps for free downloads on the Google Play marketplace. With this new development Indian android developers can make and sell their apps for revenue.

In a statement published in google play blog, Ibrahim Elbouchikhi, product manager of the Google Play team said “Developers in India can sell paid applications, in-app products, and subscriptions in Google Play, with monthly payouts to their local bank accounts.”

And now Indian Android users can pay for apps in the local currency.
