Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad @ Leela Infopark, Technopark

November 20, 2012:  Employees are streaming off Leela Infopark Building in Technopark.  Kerala Police bomb detection and disposal Squad had evacuated the building and bomb detection procedures are going on.   Not sure whether it is a security audit or due to a bomb threat.   We will be updating the details shortly.

Update:  The operation was held as part of the Triton series of coastal security exercise, held along the Kerala coast from November 20. The joint operation conducted by Navy, the Coast Guard, the Air Force, the State administration, the Intelligence Bureau, the State police, to check the loop holes in the costal security.

As part of the operation, a stranger guised as a techie entered into the Leela Infopark building on Tuesday morning. With strict security measures and checking of ID card, the person was nabbed and the operation was declared a success. Similar operations will be held in other establishments on Wednesday also.
