150th Birth Anniversary Celebration Of Swami Vivekananda @ Technopark

Swami Vivekananda’s writings inspired a whole generation of freedom fighters including Mahatma Gandhi, Subhash Chandra Bose, Sri Aurobindo etc. Rabindranath Tagore said “If you want to know India, study Vivekananda. In him everything is positive and nothing negative.” Swami Vivekananda’s ideas have had a great influence on Indian youth for generations. He firmly believed that youth is the most potent catalyst for changing the fate of the country, and hence the future of the nation rests in their hands. “The greatest sin is to think yourself weak. The remedy of weakness is not brooding over weakness, but thinking of strength,” he said.

The 150th Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda (1863-1902) will be celebrated all over the world during 2013-14. Vivekanada Study Circle is also decided to celeberate his 150th birthday amoung the people of Technopark on 10th January 2013 at 6 PM, in May Flower Hall, Club House, Technopark. Swami Tattwarupananda, Adhyaksha of Sri Ramakrishana Ashram Nettayam TVM will deliver the benedictory address to us.
