NASSCOM HR Workshop Held in Kochi

TechnoparkToday.com>> July 31, 2013: Infopark CEO, Hrishikesh Nair, today inaugurated the 15^th edition of NASSCOM HR Forum and Workshop on Compensation & Benefits. The one day workshop held at Taj Gateway was conducted jointly by R. Shantaram, Co-Founder & Director, Kelsa Management Solutions Pvt. Ltd. and Aashish Singh, VP & Head – HR, Sutherland Global Services. NASSCOM Tamil Nadu & Kerala Regional Director, K. Purushothaman welcomed the participants to the NASSCOM HR Forum.

Inaugurating the workshop, Hrishikesh Nair said, “NASSCOM HR Forum usually takes up important topics which have relevance to IT and BPO industry. Compensation is one among the 100 tools that HR employs for employee management. The two best words in HR are recruitment and retaining the employees. Most of the time compensation and benefits might not be the real factors that help retaining the employees in an organization whereas recognition and the role retain the employees.”

The workshop covered sessions on Strategic Issues in Compensation, Benefits Basket, Surveying Market Pay and Compensation Practices and Compensation Communication. Over 35 HR professionals from various organizations within the city participated in the event.
