Bird Point and Think Point in Technopark

TechnoparkToday.com>> December 4, 2013:  The greenest IT park in the country has one more green project to its credit.  The Technopark campus now has a dedicated space for birds to thrive inside the green campus.  The bird point has 10 bird huts, 3 bird baths, and 3 feeders.  In a recent bird watch conducted by techies, around 32 varieties of birds including migratory birds were identified in the campus.

 The facility was arranged as part of the 10th anniversary celebrations of Allianz.  Along with the bird point, another environment friendly project launched by Allianz is a think point, where the company will provide park benches for techies.

The bird point was inaugurated by famous poet Sugathakumari in the presence of K. G. Girish Babu, CEO Technopark, M Vasudevan, Senior Business Development Manager Technopark and other officials.

Allianz has organized several green initiatives in Technopark in the past.  One such initiative, the Technopark Bicycle club, launched by Allianz in association with TechnoaprkToday.com and Athirup’s bicycle club, was a huge hit.
