TechnoparkToday.com> With the aim of creating awareness, a parent focused Child Sexual Abuse(CSA) prevention program is being conducted in Technopark, on 10 December, 2013(Tuesday). The primary focus of this program is to help parents better understand how they can protect their children from falling prey to CSA.
The speaker for the session is Mrs. Angel Thomas, Clinical Psychologist at The Amala Institute of Medical Sciences, Thrissur. She is an NCERT National Doctoral Fellow in Psychology at Dept. of Psychology, University of Kerala and is currently pursuing her research in the area of prevention of childhood sexual abuse. She has over 9 years of experience and has been actively involved in designing and conducting social and public awareness/training programs focusing on CSA prevention.
