The fiesta has been planned as a two months-long extravaganza, which is already underway and will last till February 16 during which 1.80 million customers are expected to visit the mall. But it’s not just about getting rewarded with prizes, as the fiesta features a lot of activities and competitions for the entire family to celebrate this festive season in the best possible way. Kids can come and meet the Santa from December 20 to December 24 in the mall. Santa will distribute sweets and gifts for the customers. Then there will be an opportunity to exhibit one’s singing prowess through the carol singing competition, open for all age group, to be held between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. on December 21. The participating teams should have a minimum number of six members while there is no limit to the maximum number of singers. They can also dress up as Santa in the Santa fancy dress competition to be held between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. on December 22. Kids aged under 12 years can have all the fun participating in the “Paint your Santa with Toonz” contest to be held between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. on December 23. The shop and win contest has been so designed that it not just reward visitors at the mall with several prizes but also engage them in lot of fun activity. All they need to do is to submit their bill/bills at the information desk, collect the registration form and then spot three Santas placed at three different stores in Oberon. The filled form needs to be submitted to information desk for verification and stamping and then dropped in the drop box. A draw of lot would be held by 11 a.m. every day to select the day’s ten lucky winners who would be informed through phone or mail. Winners can collect their vouchers from the information desk within seven days from the date of announcement.
