TechnoparkToday.com>> May 26, 2014: To provide safe and comfortable transportation for technopark employees, TechBus, an innovative conveyance system launched in Technopark. Tech Bus, a Technopark initiative, will provide daily pick and drop service to and from Technopark Campus.
This transportation facility will address transportation concerns and reduce high traffic during peak hours in and around Technopark.
The vehicles are equipped with GPS tracking system and are specially designed to ensure women safety. Mobile Application to track the bus and to know the updates and details will be launched soon. SMS and Email alert features are also made available which would remind the techies to be at the bus bay before the arrival of the Bus.
Techies can avail the service of TechBus service pre-booking basis to ensure guaranteed seats.
Buses are operated by Hara Business Group, with IT and operations support from INNOBS Pvt. Ltd, Phase 3. Transportation will be provided in Volvo and luxury A/C coaches with advance features meeting International standards.
TechBus serves campuses Phase 1, Phase 2 and Phase 3 as per demands.

We all received mails that Techbus operates to Kollam on daily basis, i made enquiry on first week itself and i never got a call back from them, When followed up they say they don’t have sufficient people to operate to Kollam. In that case technopark should send a mail specifying Long distance is not yet operational or something like that, anyhow it is a good initiative.
Technopark should encourage group transportation like techbus, car pooling and availing public transportations like volvo etc.. techbus is a good concept, and if they can operate a flawless facility, more and more techies will join it for sure.
