Techie Releases debut Collection of Short Stories

TechnoparkToday.com>> June 18, 2014:  Techies are powerhouses of talents. They often come up with short films, dramas etc. Latest to join bandwagon is Sarat Sadasivan Pillai of Tata Elxsi. Writing is his forte and his has released a Malayalam book with interesting short stories.

Sarat’s book, Pettikada.com is a collection of 3 short stories. First story is about a small shop owner who gets fantasized by an advertisement about jewelry and desires to have web site for his small shop.

The second story refers to a village where a shop owner’s one ear is deafened by a cracker sound and the whole village gets into resolving it. The story whirls around the simple, humorous and innocent minds of the villagers.

The third story is a tragic one in which a young man gets appointed to a government job and come s to Trivandrum. He gets fascinated by a young and charming beggar girl. As he gets transferred back to his native he asks support from his friend in Trivadrum to help the girl but they finally abuse the girl.

The book was launched on 25th of May 2014, at Vyloppilli Samskrithi Bhavan by renowned Malayalam film director Shri. Balu Kiriyath.
