Alamy Images India Pvt. Ltd. celebrates its 10th Anniversary

TechnoparkToday.com(Aug, 2014):  Alamy Images is 10 years old this August and to celebrate this, Alamy has lined up a photography competition and workshop for photographers.

The competition runs from 5^th August and the theme is ‘A Picture that Tells a Story’. To take part, photographers need to email their entries to [email protected]  The closing date is 18^th August.

There will also be a one day basic photography workshop on 30^th August hosted by Mr. Balan Madhavan, an amazing wildlife photographer. The workshop will also include a session on ‘How to be a Contributor to Alamy’. This is a free workshop and will be held at the Travancore Hall, Park Centre, Technopark. Entry is open to the first 60 persons who register.

Prasanna S, COO says, “The Operations in India started a decade ago on the third floor of the Gayatri building, at Technopark, with nothing more than pillars and an open concrete space. Today, we are close to a hundred staff dealing with Development and various back office operations. We see this competition and workshop as a great opportunity for us to celebrate our successes and share our passion for photography”.
