Waybeo Gets Two IT Leaders as Mentor–Directors

TechnoparkToday.com>>  October 16, 2014:  Waybeo, Technopark TBI incubated start-up firm got a major achievement by getting Two IT industry leaders, Arup Gupta and Subrata Dutta as mentor-directors. Arup Gupta was TCS president for North America and Subrata Dutta was vice president of GE.

This is for the first time that IT leaders of international stature are joining a fledgling startup in the state. The mentors will head the advisory board of the company and give inputs to the founders who are still in their 20s. However, they will decide on holding any shares of the company only after Waybeo reaches the revenue target for the fiscal.

Waybeo won several Awards including the “Nasscom Top 10 Emerging companies from India” in 2013 for their innovative solutions and market insight.  They made a vast list of big enterprises from India like L&T, Godrej, Mahindra, Lodha Group etc. as their clients.
