Oratrium 2014: Public Speaking and Debate Reality Show on October 25

TechnoparkToday.com>> JCI Thiruvananthapuram is conducting a Public Speaking Reality Show – ORATRIUM 2014, on Saturday, 25th October, 2014 at St. Thomas Residential School, Mukkola, Thiruvananthapuram, who would also be the host for this program. Feeling the need to develop and propagate the required oratory skills in English as part of anybody’s personality, JCI Thiruvananthapuram design this program to identify, assess, motivate, and reward the oratory skills of students studying in standards IX through XII of various schools in Trivandrum district.

Registration of ORATRIUM – 2014 commences at 8:30 a.m. ORATRIUM 2014 will be inaugurated by our Chief Guest, former Union Minister and Honorable MP, Shashi Tharoor, at 9.30 am at the auditorium of St. Thomas Residential School, Mukkola, Thiruvananthapuram.

“Our guest will be Ms. Tiffany Brar, a differently abled social activist, who runs Jyothirgamaya – a mobile blind school, the first of its kind in Kerala, with the objective of ‘Empowering the blind in every possible aspect through need-based individual training’. Accomplished Indian actor Suresh Gopi has supported and endorsed ORATRIUM 2014 and other noble activities of JCI Thiruvananthapuram.

The winners shall be decided after rigorous competition evaluating their oratrial and presentation skills by an expert panel comprising of successful and eminent personalities from various fields.

The valedictory ceremony shall be held at 5.30 pm. For entertaining and giving a good time to the participants, there shall be Live musical band, dance performance, Shadow Magic Show, and game stalls.
