Tejus gets Recognition for Blood Donation Initiative in Technopark

TechnoparkToday.com>> Tejus, the blood donation forum of Technopark, is awarded as best NGO for promoting voluntary blood donation.  The award was instituted by Terumo Penpol, India’s first and largest manufacturer of Blood Bags, based in Thiruvananthapuram, in connection with the World Blood Donor Day 2015.

Tejus has organized 4000 plus blood donations and 75 plus camps in the last three years.  Operating over the years in Technopark, Tejus is successful in bringing out regular blood donors from Technopark.  The organization has come to the aid of several people during crisis situations.

Tejus was formed in 2006 by a group of Techies, realizing the potential of technopark community in supporting the society.  The other activities of Tejus include arranging free transportation for blood donors from Technopark to RCC and Sri Chitra.
