Technoparktoday.com>> Speridian Technologies, the CMMi Level 3 customer experience technology solutions vendor, is turning 10 this year. Having come a long way from their humble beginning way back in 2005 in Technopark, the company has grown to a 600-strong organization today, with offices across the US, Canada, the UAE, and India. Acknowledging their fast-paced growth, industry watcher Inc. 500 has featured Speridian for the fourth time in the coveted list of ‘fastest growing private companies in America’ this year.
Sparsh, Speridian’s Community Involvement Club, has already been looking ahead and planning to make this December memorable for the employees. Through a series of campaigns, they are planning to reach out to our ‘not-so-lucky’ fellow beings in more ways than one.
The 10th Anniversary celebrations started with a colourful ‘Think Positive: Rethink HIV’ rally organized in connection with the World AIDS Day on December 1. Speridian employees walked through the Technopark campus, underlining the importance of rethinking outdated stereotypes, challenging myths and being positive about HIV. Adding a dash of glamour to the rally, Speridian’s dance group performed a flash mob, urging the Technopark community to participate in the mass Blood Donation Drive planned for December 2, for the benefit of the patients of Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Trivandrum.
As the third leg of the social responsibility programme, Speridian employees will reach out to the inmates of Snehaveedu, a non-profitable organization at Nalanchira, providing food, shelter, medication, and rehabilitation for the mentally challenged, the poor, the aged and the orphans.
“Right from the initial stages of planning, we wanted to give our Decennial celebrations a different flavor. As caring and compassionate individuals, and socially responsible citizens, we have always felt it is our duty to extend all possible help to lesser fortunate fellow beings. We thought, the best way to celebrate our growth and existence is to share our success and multiply our joy with people who are in real need our help,” said Chandra Vempati, Senior Vice President and Speridian India Head. “We sought the opinion of our employees, and each of them echoed the same sentiment.”
