Techie loses INR 10K via ATM Robbery

TechnoparkToday.com>> The series of ATM robbery targeting Technopark Employees still continues. Mr Sebin, a techie lost INR10,000 from his account, this week. He has an account with ICICI Bank, Kowdiar Branch. But it is still unclear, from which ATM, the cash has been robbed.

Sebin received message to his Mobile from Bank stating the ATM withdrawal on Monday, He immediately reported and filed a complaint at Kazhakootam Police Station.

Police started the Investigation and suspects the Rumerian group, who were arrested for High-tech ATM robbery performed earlier.

Rohini, another techie lost INR 80,000 last year. The hacker withdrew her money in Maharashtra. Later Athira , working in Swami’s Solutions lost INR 34,000. In her case, the money was taken in one of the Bangalore ATM’s. Another techie lost INR 20,000 few months back.

Techies, please be cautious and do not share your Bank details with anyone. If someone demands for your account/bank details over phone stating verification call, the same can be reported immediately at Kazhakootam Police Station (0471 2418231) or Thumba Police Station (0471 2563754).
