Technopark Express: Bus service to restart soon

TechnoparkToday.com>>  Finally, an end to the travel woes of techies.  The Technopark Express, short bus service connecting Technopark to major points in Kazhakoottam, is all set for a re-launch.

Technopark Express will start test ride on Monday or Tuesday.  Regular services will be launched by March.

This time, Technopark Travel and Tourism Co-operative Society Ltd conducts operations of Technopark Exrpress.

This service will be operated exclusively for employees with valid ID cards issued by the companies in Technopark. The bus service is planned to operate from different boarding points such as Kazhakoottom Railway station, Kazhakoottom Junction, Kariavattom Junction and Trippadapuram to Technopark Phase 1, Technopark Phase III, UST Global and Infosys.

The bus will be equipped with GPS enabled tracking systems developed by VehicleST.  A security guard will be present in the vehicle for all trips.

The fare for this service will be collected on a monthly basis using prepaid access cards provided by the society. The society is also planning to provide an app through which route, next boarding point, and expected time of arrival can be known to the user.

Once launched, this will be the safest and most convenient travel mode for techies.
