TechnoparkToday.com>> Technopark is going to get a co-operative society run hospital exclusively for techies and family. Technopark co-operative society has initiated steps for fulfilling the dream project.
Initially, a 10-bed clinic with 24-hour service will be started. It will have all basic health care facilities including diagnostic equipment and pharmacy. The second phase of the project will be multi-specialty hospital, most probably in Technocity campus.
“A governing board has been constituted with a 13-member panel. It includes 11 members from technopark employees and 2 representatives from technopark authority.” Binu, president of the co-operative hospital society told to TechnoparkToday.com.
Techies can buy shares of the hospital from a special counter opened at Technopark co-operative society. The cost of one share is Rs. 2500. Shares have 3 year locking period. Shareholders will get special benefits in the future.
In Technocity masterplan, there is a 10-acre land allotted for construction of hospital. Technopark might consider this land for the hospital.
