National Award for Catalyz, Technopark

Technopark Technology Business Incubation (T-TBI) incubated company Catalyz Scientific Technologies has won the national award for the best start-up company in Biotech and Pharma sector for the year 2009.  The award constituted by the Indian Science and Technology Park’s (STEPS) and Business Incubator’s Association (ISBA) was received by Dr  Biju Jacob, founder and CEO of Catalyz, from Union Minister for S&T Prithviraj Chavan in New Delhi.

Catalyz is a new generation health care innovations company focusing on point of care diagnostics and stem cell therapeutics. The company is developing proprietary diagnostics and prognostics platforms for different infectious and chronic diseases. The tests conducted need no technical knowledge or any device to interpret the result, hence making it easy for laymen in confirming or ruling out certain diseases.
