Tech Talk on Data privacy and Security @ Technopark on June 21

While global players opening shop in India bring with them superior global standards of data protection and data privacy, it is also imperative for them to be mindful of the unique local Indian law requirements. With the introduction of GDPR, a wide set of standards for the protection of digital personal data relating to online or real-world behaviour for the internet users. Importantly, these standards apply to the personal data of the internet users regardless of the location of the entity holding their data. In this sense, the standards have significant extraterritorial reach.

So keeping all this in mind, we Progressive techies, a forum of Kerala IT employees, is organising a platform for discussing various aspects of internet security, data privacy, recent trends, concerns and career opportunities.
