TechnoparkToday.com: Kerala Blockchain Academy (KBA) is a unique initiative of IIITM-K along with Blockchain Education Network (BEN) to explore deep into the cutting-edge technology “Blockchain”, which is the most promising innovation since “The Internet”. The Blockchain Education Network is comprised of 60+ chapters spread across six continents and KBA is the only Blockchain Academy form India to partner with BEN. The strategic vision of Kerala Blockchain Academy is to build an ecosystem for promoting Blockchain education and research along with industry collaborations to build feasible solutions on Blockchain.

KBA is the first Indian academy to become the Associate Member of Linux Hyperledger, an umbrella project of open source Blockchains and related tools started by Linux Foundation in 2015. KBA mainly have two verticals: First is the Blockchain Powerhouse, focusing on capacity building programs in Blockchain technology including certification programs, R&D and consulting. Next is the Blockchain Garage, which focuses on collaborative solution development, IP generation and entrepreneurship promotion.
