The new online store will provide customers with the same premium experience found in Apple store locations around the world.
It is to be noted that the launch was at the right time, as sales of smart phones in India usually reaches the peak during Diwali season. Experts say that Apple will try their level best to uplift its smartphone market in the country which is currently less than 2%.
