Canadian Delegation Explores Collaborative Opportunities at Technopark

TechnoparkToday(Sept,2023): A delegation hailing from Canada’s Yukon Province, headed by Premier Ranj Pillai, recently embarked on a visit to Technopark with the aim of exploring potential collaboration opportunities with IT companies within Technopark. Their visit also sought to gain insights into the vibrant IT ecosystem flourishing within Technopark.

The esteemed Canadian delegation comprised notable members such as Michael Prochazka, Deputy Minister of Economic Development; Ziad Sahid, Executive Director of Tech Yukon; and Victor Thomas, President and CEO of the Canada-India Business Council.

During their visit, the delegation received an informative briefing on Kerala’s IT landscape and Technopark’s integral role within it, courtesy of CEO Col Sanjeev Nair (Retd). This was followed by engaging interactions with industry leaders and a tour of the IT companies within Technopark.

Key figures from the Technopark community, including Sreekumar V, Centre Head of Tata Elxsi; Vishnu Nair, CEO of GTech; and representatives from NASSCOM, joined the discussions, emphasizing the significant potential of international collaboration within the technology sector.

This visit, which took place on September 15, marks a promising step towards fostering international cooperation in the domains of technology and innovation. Yukon Province and Kerala are actively exploring avenues for mutual growth and development, underlining the spirit of global partnership and progress.
