Kovalam to be premier surfing destination

Good news to offline surfers 🙂

Tourists can look forward to a host of water sports such as surfing, wave riding, scuba diving, snorkelling, boating and water skiing in Kovalam with the commissioning of a multipurpose artificial soft reef off the beach resort on Wednesday.

The reef, installed between the Light House and the Edakkal rocks off the Light House beach, will protect the severely eroding coast and make the resort a round-the-year surfing destination.
