Samsung launched Samsung Galaxy i899, the first CDMA Android phone in India. Samsung Galaxy i899 is a mid-end phone with a 3.2 inch AMOLED display with 320 x 480 pixels, Wi-Fi, GPS, DivX support, Bluetooth, 3.2MP autofocus camera with flash, MicroSD card support, and an 800MHz processor and using Android 1.x variant.
The internal memory is 230 MB but it can be expanded to up to 32 GB with the help of microSD cards.
The phone is about to be launched on the reliance networks. Its pricing and specifications are not yet known. That fact is indicative that CDMA consumers have more handsets to choose from as each day passes.
