The National Livestock and Food Festival

City dwellers are getting an exciting opportunity to see rare varieties of dogs, birds, cattles etc. The National Livestock and Food Festival, being held at Kanakakunnu Palace premises from 24 to 29, is a hit from the very first day. The exhibition, which is open to public from 9 am to 9 pm, is getting enormous support from the people.

Most of the pet animals and birds exhibited at the venue are never seen before.

However, a large portion of the exhibition premises are covered by government stalls and models of animals, which will ooze out the spirit of viewers. Eighty percent of the areas are filled with these kind of unwanted stuff; however, the rest 20 percent is very useful, especially for school students. The huge rush is creating traffic blocks and parking woes. Ticket charge is 10 for elders and 5 for children.
