Technopark based Artin dynamics revealed a power saving solution

Artin Dynamics, a start up based in Technopark here, is launching a product it claims will help users reduce electric power consumed by electronic devices such as computers.

Speaking at a press conference, Mr Nelvin Joseph, CEO, Artin Dynamics, said that the product, called Spara, would help users save energy by almost eliminating “phantom power”.

Phantom power, also called standby power, is the electricity consumed by an electronic device when it is in the standby mode or when it is switched off but plugged in, he explained.

Spara, which has hardware and software components, uses patented technology to cut energy losses due to phantom power, he said. The product is especially suitable for organisations with a large number of computers as it will help them reduce electricity consumption
