CATLEAKS! – CAT 2010 Results Leaked?

The results of CAT 2010, which scheduled to be declared on January 12, were available on one of the blogging websites for over an hour.

This is definitely not the first time that such incidents have been reported. Previously too, the results were leaked before the official dates. This has created chaos among CAT aspirants

Ajith Raj, one of the management aspirants who could check the results shared that he had learnt about the link from a blogging website. “It was a cache of the link. Though the heading on the page said they were the results for 2009, after filling in the CAT registration number, e-mail address and password, all the credentials were authentic and of the current year from the candidate’s picture to other personal details. I could not see my result as the page was not downloading but I could see my friend’s result

The result was available in This Link, but it seems the cache is cleared now. It is said that,  if users are unable to access the official website – www.catiim.in then they could visit the alternative website at https://iim.prometric.com. The agency has also confirmed that candidate information on the website is protected with enterprise-class security and is completely segregated from the www.catiim.in website

  1. Very interesting scenario. These types of results should be heavily protected for any form of hacking.
