NORKA to setup Business Centre to Promote Investments

NoRKA-ROOTS, the field agency of the Non-Resident Keralites Affairs Department, is considering a business centre that will serve as a single window facility to promote investments from non-resident Keralites. It will provide financial and legal consultancy services among others to non-resident Keralites interested in investing in the State.

One floor in the upcoming NoRKA centre at Thycaud in Thiruvananthapuram will be set apart for the business centre, the construction of which is expected to be completed by February.

NoRKA is also opening its offices in Chennai and Bangalore, in addition to its offices already functioning in Mumbai and Delhi.

Meanwhile, it has announced that the first interview based on applications received through its job portal launched www.jobsnorka.gov.in will be held on January 26. The UAE-based company Emrill, which offers integrated facilities management solutions, will hold the interview to meet its requirement for 80 persons ranging from mechanics to engineers.
