RMESI gain BS 25999 certification

Technopark based RM Education Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. (RMESI), a fully owned subsidiary of RM plc UK, has achieved the coveted BS 25999 certification. The certificate was awarded under UKAS accreditation following a rigorous audit by the British Standards Institution (BSI).

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Connell Viegas, CEO of RMESI, said: “RMESI has always focused on best practices across all facets of its business with the objective of delivering superior value to its customers.” In the past, it had achieved the ISO 9001 certification for its Quality Management System, ISO 27001 certification for its Information Security Management System and ISO 20000 for its IT Service Management System. The BS 25999 certification is an indicator of the strength of the Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) that RMESI has put in place to continue providing services to our customers when faced with business disruptions.

The certification proves that RMESI has effective processes in place to minimize exposure during external disruptive events which assures continued business operations at all times. These processes take into account all aspects of the business including people, premises, assets and vendors.
