  1. One model missing here is HTC incredible S . It is more compact than desire hd and sells at around 27-28 at flipkart.

  2. But what abut the battery backup of HTC incredible S? its a well known disadvantage of HTC phones that its battery wont last for a long.

  3. What about Samsung Ace? That is a pretty good budget phone..

  4. Yes, battery only lasts for a day. It has a usb charger. So it’s not much of a problem for me as I always lug around the laptop. But it will be an issue if there is no accessible charging point like while traveling.

  5. Which is the best one within 15K now? any idea?

  6. This is a good compilation and is very useful…

But what I don’t understand is why none of the android phones in the range of 10 – 15 k does not have the secondary cam for video calling?

Don’t we deserve a secondary cam when paying this much?

  7. I think now they are giving the secondary cam facility in their mid to high range models. if they provide a secondary cam, it would add cost and there wont be any class difference betweene the phones.

So their idea is, if you need more features, move in to the higher options..may be..

anyway, the future of android phones is bright, in India.

  8. Another phone worth considering is Samsung galaxy pop S5570. It has 600Mhz processor with Android 2.2. I have been using it for sometime now…its simply awesome. Icing on the cake is Samsung’s Touchwiz UI…You can have it in India for 8.5 to 8.8k…

  9. Another one is Galaxy S LCD. It costs around 20K. Better than any other phones in that range. I bought one in last week and thats really good.

  10. Thanks for sharing the list of best android phones.

  11. Good stuff. This is what I did. I really really wanted to avoind getting sucked into another two year contract for my next phone, so I decided to buy a HTC Desire HD2 upfront. This baby is quite inexpensive on Ebay if you get it preowned. Then I had a choice between either GiffGaff or Alpha Mobile, and I went with the later because they give me a lot of international minutes for something like £15, on top of the usual local calls, mobile internet, etc etc. I think it’s a package called Alpha Freedom. So yeah, when I pulled a spreadsheet for 24 month expenses, this bundle was the least expensive of them all and still got me everthing I need. This only works in the UK though.
