New Helpline Numbers for Railway Passengers

Rail passengers can contact the helpline of the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and the Government Railway Police (GRP), which is manned round the clock, if they face any problem related to safety or security of their belongings while travelling on trains.

In the Thiruvananthapuram division, the RPF Help Line number is 9995040000. The number of the Help Line in the Control Room functioning in the office of the Divisional Security Commissioner of the RPF at the divisional headquarters at Thycaud is 0471-2330502. Rail passengers can contact the GRP on Help Line 9846200100 (Rail Alert).

A Help Line 0491-2553636 has also been introduced at the Control Room functioning in the office of the Divisional Security Commissioner at the Palakkad divisional railway headquarters. This is also manned by RPF personnel round the clock.
