A new website, www.dutchinkerala.com, that covers the history of Kerala with special focus on the Dutch rule has been launched. The website is a joint venture the Dutch Embassy in India and historian and journalist Malayinkeezhu Gopalakrishnan.
The website describes in detail the contributions of Dutch rulers to Kerala and the incidents that led to the fall of Dutch. The website covers a period from Vasco-da-Gama’s arrival in Kerala to the formation of unified Kerala. The website also features rare photographs and maps.
