“ALINCHUVADU YAKSHI” – A short film released recently in YouTube makes a good vibe with it’s powerful social message. A group of techies from Technopark made this short-film in record time with the very limited resources they have.
A trip to Ramoji film city, Hyderabad inspired Martin Jose to create a film. The message of this film is his long term vision which he wants to convey to the society and he believes that, film is a powerful medium for it. The theme of this film is drawn from various perceptions prevailing in the society and he had done a research work on ‘Hymavathi’, the famous ghost myth rumoring around Technopark Trivandrum.
“It was an exciting adventure though there were many hardships faced throughout the film making. The equipment for film shooting was very minimal. We have faced lot of troubles due to lack of proper equipment. The most challenging part was the night time shoot. We did not have any sophisticated lighting equipment generally used for the night shoots. The night scenes were shot during the evenings between 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM and early morning 5:30 AM to 6:00 AM and it took several days. But ultimately through all these, we hope we brought to you a memorable piece of art. Another interesting thing is the Ghost costume with 3 white sarees stitched together, a ladies wig and an emergency light.” – Martin said.
This short film touched 3200+ views within a week. Watch the movie here
