ATM robbery At Kazhakoottam near Technopark

Technoparktoday.com(May,2017): An ATM robbery is reported  near Technopark Kazhakkoottam where the robbers plundered cash worth more than 10 Lakhs.

The looted State Bank ATM is at ambalathinkara near karyavattom near technopark which is under the kazhakkoottam police station limits. Police said the robbery was detected around 6 pm by the officials, who turned up to refill the ATM with cash. The front portion of the machine that held the money chest was found to be pry opened. There was nothing left inside the chest. They immediately alerted the cops, who launched a probe. Bank authorities also told the police that there was Rs 10,18,500 in the ATM after the last recorded transaction.

There were two cameras inside the kiosk, out of which one was not working. The police, however, are trying to get the visuals from the other camera that was installed inside the machine.
