TechnoparkToday>> Â December 14, 2012: Â As part of making commuting easier for techies working in Infopark and strengthening security measures within the park, a pre-paid auto counter and police aid post are being set up at Infopark premises. Benny Behanan, MLA, Thrikkakara will inaugurate both pre-paid auto counter and police aid post on December 15, Saturday at 4pm at Infopark East Gate. P. I Mohammad Ali, Chairman, Thrikkakara Municipality will preside over the inaugural function and K. Padmakumar IPS, Inspector General of Police, Kochi Range will distribute pre-paid auto coupons.
The scheme envisages police coordinating with private and public sector undertakings in Kochi city to use modern technology to enhance security in the city.The Park joined hands with the Kerala Police in setting up a Police Aid Post at the park as part of its initiative to strengthen security measures. The police aid posts and pre-paid auto counter at the main entrance of the park are for the easy and safe moving of techies in the Park.

Special patrolling, lady police deployment, facility of SMS complaint reporting system in case any security related issues come up, installing surveillance cameras and street lights, traffic police in main junctions, rash driving controlling all come under the purview of police aid post.
T. Gopalakrishanapillai, Deputy Police Commissioner, Kochi City, Shri. Antony B. J., RTO, Ernakulam, Shri. M. A. Mohanan, Council Thrikkakara, Municipality 11th ward, Ummar K. M., INTUC State Secretary and other dignitaries will grace the inaugural function.
