BMW launches BMW X5 in Indian Market

BMW launches its BMW X5 SUV in the Indian market. This is an updated model which is available in petrol and diesel options.

The car is available as a CBU and is priced at Rs 52.99 lakh for the X5 xDrive30d and Rs 69.5 lakh for the X5 xDrive50i, all India ex-showroom.

The new X5 features a larger front and rear surface area, new L-shaped tail-lights and smaller aero changes. A new brake regeneration technology as well as a new 8-speed automatic is part of the technical changes. The twin turbo petrol V8 found on the X6 is now offered on the X5 and produces 407 bhp to help it accelerate from 0-100 kph in 5.5 seconds. The diesel with 245 bhp can do the same in 7.6 seconds.
