An unclaimed bag in Technopark Nila parking lot created a furore in Technopark this morning around 10.45AM.
Employees were evacuated from the Nila building and a tense situation prevailed till the bomb squad and police arrived in the scene.
But the unclaimed baggage was found to be a garbage bag consisting of domestic waste, which was thrown by a technopark employee. Police questioned a person named Nikhil Abraham related to this incident.
Many top police officials , bomb squad, dog squad ,fire force crew , and many media persons including television channels came to technopark after reporting this incident.
if it was a real bomb, how soon the security ppl turned out?
at least one hour after. the emergency response team wont reach on time, it was an original bomb, how it would be?
This fake bomb threat itself is a big security flop. if you see the photos or videos, you can see a lots of people including the local people, media people and many others were present in the place. How all these people managed to come inside?
just imagine, this is how the biggest security flaws happens. anybody can come inside, even if there is a big threat exists. anybody can come in and place another original bomb! 🙂
The real issue to be noted is that the employees are removed from the building at 10.00 am and the fireforce team arrived at 11.30 am, if its a real one then they will arrive after exploring it what a ruling Govt?
You said it Raj. If it was real, it could be a mishap. prevention is better than cure. so please implement security measures from the side of technopark and individual companies
