BSNL to Open Call Centre at Technopark

BSNL-KeralaTechnoparkToday.com>>  July 12, 2014:  BSNL is setting up a call centre facility in Technopark Trivandrum to serve its telephone service subscribers across the state.  The facility will be operational by August, 2014.  BPO major Aegis Global will run the call centre facility here.  Earlier, the call centre for BSNL Kerala was operating from Bangalore.

“National Optical Fibre Network (NOFN) project, which aims to ensure broad band connectivity in every panchayath would be completed in Kerala during this current fiscal year. 142 locations have been identified for setting up new customer service centres in the state”, said  M S S Rao, chief general manager, BSNL Kerala.

BSNL’s Kerala customer base includes 27 lakh landline connections, 6.6 lakh broadband connections, 2.5 lakh CDMA connections, 28,000 WiMAX, 2.5 lakh Post-Paid connections, and 65.6 lakh Pre-Paid connections.
