TechnoparkToday.com(May, 2015): Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) is a premier R&D organization under the Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY), Government of India, for carrying out R&D in Electronics, IT and associated areas.
C-DAC Thiruvananthapuram has acquired high competency, expertise and experience in the areas of Control & Instrumentation, Broadcast & Communications, Cyber Forensics, Telemedicine, Networking, Power Electronics, VLSI/ASIC Design and Underwater Electronics, through extensive design and deployment of the projects undertaken. C-DAC(T) holds its Quality Management System to comply with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008. Software Training and Development Centre (STDC), the Training Division of C-DAC(T), focuses on generation of quality manpower in advanced software and hardware areas. It is located in Thiruvananthapuram Technopark, in the new C-DAC building with high tech class rooms.
STDC offers specially designed short term courses depending upon the evolving requirements of the IT industry. Training programmes are conducted for various corporates like Banks, KSEB, Kerala Financial Corporation, Kerala Forest Department, Kerala Police, Indian Army, various Central Government Organizations, various IT Companies (Private, Public and Other MNCs).
