CM Shri Pinarayi Vijayan inaugurated Hacking Parade 2016 – Cyberdome Training Programme

TechnoparkToday.com>> Honorable Chief Minister of Kerala, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan inaugurated the Ethical Hacking Parade 2016 and the unique projects of Cyberdome including Social Media Lab, new Cyberdome website, Traffic apps, online portal of Kerala Police circulars on 2nd July in Park Centre, Technopark.

The meeting was presided by Smt Nalini Netto(Adnl Chief Secretary – Home). In the inaugural speech, CM expressed his gratitude towards the delegates across the country who have turned up for the workshop. This workshop is being conducted for the first time in India.

Lokanatha Behera(DGP, Kerala State Police Chief) gave key note address. The service delivery and transparency to public would be improved by implementing the new technologies – he added. Moreover, there are plans to implement ‘paper free trainings’ in Kerala Police. All the attendees would be given a tablet where the course materials can be downloaded and attend online examinations.

After the inaugural event, CM visited Cyberdome office in Tejaswini Building, Technopark. Manoj Abraham IPS shared the areas where Cyberdome is working in association with IT Companies to reduce the cyber crimes.

The Training workshop was conducted by Cyberdome to train Police officers working in the various cyber cells of the State, Station House Officers and CyberDome volunteers in the latest issues in the cyber world- which includes Social Engineering, Ransomware, IPv6 Compatibility Issues, Cyber Warfare and Threat Intelligence.
