Cyberdome started its Operation in Technopark

Technoparktoday.com>> Kerala Police Cyberdome – a high tech public private partnership centre for Cyber security and Innovations, started its operation in Thejeswini Building, Technopark.

Shri T P Senkumar(Kerala State Police Chief) inaugurated the new Cyberdome office in Technopark on 8th Apr 2016. Cyberdome and its Logo was officially inaugurated earlier by Shri Ramesh Chennithala(Hon Home Minister, Kerala) during Cybergala – a joint event by Kerala Police & Natana held on 17th Feb 2016.

Manoj Abraham(Inspector General of Police) shared the importance of the new Venture ‘Cyberdome’. The reason of implementing the office here in Technopark is to provide an easy access for the Technical Experts working in different companies. ‘Police has already signed MoU’s with different IT Companies for testing the vulnerabilities and to verify the dark net’ – he added.

Social Media monitoring has been already started in full swing. The integration of technology in order to handle traffic issues are in progress. Internet Monitoring and big data analysis will be added as future projects. Policing the Dark net is one of the major part that Cyberdome would concentrate on.

Captain Krishnalal gave a brief description on Cyber Defence Corps which is a 15 member team providing Technical Support for Kerala Police. A quick session on Geospatial Analysis was felicitated by Shri T Radhakrishnan(Professor, IIITMK). Dr B Sandhya IPS(Additional DGP), other higher officials of Kerala Police, members of Natana(Cultural Club of Technopark) and GTech(Group of Technology Companies) attended the event.
