Desi Flava, the DJ party that rocked Trivandrum!

So the big day finally came and went, and wonderful it was too. We are still smiling from the energy of it all. Desi Flava, the one of a kind DJ party to rock TVM did shake up the town on 27th Nov ’10. The venue was the magnificent banquet hall at SP Grand Days. Team Arun’s (who are known to churn out rocking private and public parties for technopark based companies and other corporate) turned consultants for this event while the show was entirely managed and showcased by Fortuna Events- a division of Fortuna Addo group. They had lined up not one, two, three but four amazing DJs to rock the night.

The party started late (Keeping in mind the ‘desi’ spirit ;p) but then as DJ Elbane started spinning some house numbers to set the mood, and later gave way for Dj ZykloNn to punch in some desi numbers, the crowd started grooving!

Dj Arvee – the $16th ranked Electronic DJ in India was introduced for the first time in Trivandrum. His mixes are insane and the way he shifts from song to song is unbelievable. Within no time, Arvee started booming, the bass hit hard and fast, everyone was starting to get into it, people glowing, flashing lights, connecting and uniting. It was a social affair too where people networked; they ended up celebrating a party goer’s birthday with a yummy cake and cheers!!

Malayalam Actor Babu Antony the 6’ 3” tall handsome hunk turned up at the party and rocked like never before till the end of the event. Not to mention the contests like ‘Zindrealla treasure’ and best dancing couple contest brought a difference to the party.

On the whole, Desi Flava was a lot of fun that really put the party animals on the edge. When it was time to wind up the show, the energy levels never dropped. People kept on dancing, asking, requesting, pleading, YELLING for more!! Sadly we had committed on the deadline, and had to stop.. But in our heart we really wanted it to go on and on- What better gift could the organizers get than a bunch of happy, cheerful crowd who’s request made us recall the song ‘Tick Tock’ by Ke$ha

“Don’t stop, make it pop
DJ, blow my speakers up
Tonight, I’mma fight
‘Til we see the sunlight
Tick tock, on the clock
But the party don’t stop”

As with all good things, the party had to end… But we promise to be back with a bigger, better party for our party mates. It’s a promise!
