In a collaborative effort between the Healthcare Federation of India, Arthur D. Little India, Infopark, and Technopark, the ‘Digital Health Connect’ summit took place as a two-day Southern Region Roadshow. The event aimed to uncover the vast potential of digital health in India. Held at Infopark Kochi and Technopark Thiruvananthapuram, the summit brought together esteemed professionals and industry leaders from India and abroad to discuss the future of the digital healthcare sector in India and the emerging opportunities for digital service providers, with the goal of accelerating the industry’s digitization.
The first day of the summit, held at Infopark, featured a session on “Potential Opportunities for Digital Players – Use Cases and Future Pathways & Strategies.” Esteemed speakers, including Sudarshan Bhamare, CEO of Apollo ADLUX Hospitals; Vaishak Seetharam, Cluster Head of Service Excellence at Aster DM Healthcare; Dr. Ajay Nair, CEO of Swasth Alliance; and Brajesh Kumar Singh, Director of Philips Healthcare India, delivered keynote presentations. The session also included contributions from Hari Thalapalli, Founder and CEO of Call Health Pvt Ltd; Tom George, Founder & MD of Guardian Angel Homecare; Fabian Sempf, Principal at ADL; Dennis Johnson, Vice President of Axis Bank, Mid Corporate Team; Dr. Saranya Mohan, Sub Zonal Head of Lab Operations at Lal Path Labs; and Shreeraj Nair, Regional Manager at Athulya Senior Care. These sessions set the stage for further discussions on strategies, technologies, and challenges related to ABDM integration, data analytics, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and ABDM adoption, among other topics.
On the second day, the event held at Technopark focused on opportunities for companies in the digital health field, noteworthy cases to watch out for, future prospects for digital service providers, and digital transformation. Prominent figures such as Sudarshan Bhamare, CEO of Apollo ADLUX Hospitals; Brajesh Kumar Singh, Director of Philips Healthcare India; and Barnik Maitra, Managing Partner at ADL, engaged in insightful conversations. A subsequent session featured VK Vishnu, Vice President of Axis Bank Commercial Banking Team, and Dr. Saranya Mohan, Operations Sub Zonal Head at Lal Path Labs, addressing questions from the audience. Gaurav Sharma, Manager at ADL Private Limited, summarized the event.
Siddhartha Bhattacharya, Secretary General of NATHEALTH, presided over the sessions and provided the overarching context for the summit.
