DreamWorks’ Creative Director Philippe Gluckman to Attend Animation Masters Summit 2015

TechnoparkToday.com(May, 2015): Philippe Gluckman, the Creative Director for the DreamWorks Dedicated Unit is one of the Masters at the Animation Masters Summit organized by Toonz Animation in Trivandrum on May 8-9, 2015.

Philippe Gluckman has been part of the most notable DreamWorks Animated feature films such as ‘Puss in Boots’, Rise of the Guardians, Shrek the Third and The Madagascar series: Madagascar, Escape 2 Africa, & Madagascar 3, as the Visual Effects Supervisor.

Most recently, he was the Visual Effects Supervisor for the Penguins of Madagascar, the first DreamWorks Feature film principally produced in India. At the Summit, He’s going to speak about the production of this film as this was the first project of DreamWorks that was completely produced at the company’s Bangalore Unit right from Conception to final delivery. In his session he will be focusing on the unique process of the film, its challenges and successes.

He began his career as a traditional 2-D animator, as a partner with Storyboard and as an assistant animator at Cartoon Farm, both located in Paris; he studied graphic arts at the Ecole Nationale D’Arts Appliques, Paris.
